Resources and the Saw Mill
My first Garrison now has 10k resources. I will soon replace my Sawmill. I am not sure you can get away without one in the beginning. I am getting enough from the cache and the trading post. The trading post makes resources from lots of things - different every day - but I do it totally from herbs. I don't remember when the herb garden opens up; I don't think it is soon enough to negate the need for a Sawmill to start with.

I just replaced Gorprog's (L100 #2) sawmill with a trading post. He has 3k resources and man L3 bldgs. I think it will work.
ReplyDeleteFor your first toon's garrison i think the sawmill makes sense - you've got no other source of income.
ReplyDeleteAfter you have a toon with an herb patch you can replace the sawmill with a trading post and get the flower of the day from your other toon(s).
